Addicted to Plastics
A collaboration for the UN ‘Beat Plastic Pollution’ campaign as part of our partnership with the United Nations Environment Programme.
This short film highlights how plastic has become ubiquitous, helping drive engagement and conversation as world leaders continue negotiations on a global treaty to end plastic pollution.
UNEP came to us with a brief that asked for ‘something different’. We used old advertisements and footage of the escalation of mass production and consumption to follow the plastic journey, from brand-new wonder product in the 1950s, to the out-of-control scourge single use plastic has become today.
